Gelanots XP
GELANOTS XP is a unique hydrophilic membrane laminated on sportswear fabric. The membrane provides perfect protection against the wind and rain and, at the same time, maintains a constant microclimate on the body surface both at standstill and during intensive physical activities. This membrane has been developed for active outdoor sports and its parameters satisfy even the most demanding users.
The Material that Breathes
The GELANOTS membrane has no pores by which it completely differs from classic micro-porous membranes. In spite of that, its ability to let evaporated sweat through is extremely good. This is reached by the microstructure of the membrane made of special kind of polyurethane (PU), whose molecular structure and the forces between the PU and water molecules are optimal for this function. When physically stressed, the body heats up, starts to sweat and the vapour concentration under the clothes increases. If a molecule of water vapour gets into contact with the Gelanots membrane, it is pulled in and being among the PU molecules it becomes its part (i.e. the membrane is hydrophilic). Due to the higher temperature and concentration of water vapour under the clothes the evaporated sweat is continually pushed through the membrane. The process is as natural as water fl owing from a higher to a lower place.
Waterproof and Wind-resisting Qualities
The micro-pores in classic membranes usually get widened in stressed places with time and become water permeable. The non-porous GELANOTS XP however keeps its resistance against water pressure for years. Perfect wind resistance is necessary for maintaining the microclimate and for the user‘s heat comfort.
Service Life & Maintenance
The typical drawback of classic membranes is their vapour permeability getting worse due to their pores becoming clogged with salts and fats contained in sweat as well as with dirt and detergents. This however does not concern the GELANOTS XP membrane. It can be washed in the washing machine using common detergents, it can be carefully dried in the dryer and even ironed. Only various conditioners should not be used and the membrane should not be twisted or spun after washing. It is recommended to leave the membrane to drip.

Gelanots XP3L
is a three-layer laminated fabric connecting the upper fabric Gelanots XP membrane and the lower membrane protection. This material can resist even higher water pressure while the permeability remains the same as with the XP membrane. Gelanots XP3L is especially suitable for light sportswear for extreme sports such as mountaineering, skiing, trekking, etc.

Gelanots GXPR
is a very light material made by using special technology.
The functional PU layer on the seamy side of the fabric is so resistant against
mechanical damage that it does not need any further protection by any lining. The material is
intended for light and space-saving clothes that can be carried as spare clothes in case of unpredictable weather changes.

Gelanots Softshell
is a versatile new-generation material intended for sportswear and outdoor clothing . The material consists of three layers. Individual layers are mutually connected by using the lamination technology. The outer layer is sturdy, abrasion resistant, elastic, and it does not limit the wearer‘s freedom of
movement. Due to the Gelanots waterproof membrane laminated on the inner microfleece layer, the Gelanots Softshell material has extraordinarily good thermal insulation properties, is windproof and yet excellently breathable. Technosoft
is a new softshell 3-layer material. The outer layer is a stretch durable fabric, the second is excellent permeable PU membrane and the back side is laminated fleece layer for better thermal insulation. Individual layers are connected by using the lamination technology. This material can replace the classic combination of two different materials – a warm fleece fabric and a windproof outer membrane material (high permeability, 100 % wind-resistance).

Airysoft
is a 2-layer softshell material. As it does not contain a membrane, the material is light and highly breathable. The outer layer is stretch durable fabric and the back side is laminated fl eece layer for better thermal insulation. Individual layers are connected by using the lamination technology. The material is highly windproof and although it does not include any membrane, the clothing from this material has excelent thermal characteristics and guarantees the optimal user‘s comfort.
Stretchpoint
This high performance 1-layer softshell fabric is constructed by using a high durable nylon woven outer face and wicking soft-brushed inner fabric. With built-in stretch, this versatile fabric is light in weight, wind- and water-resistant, durable and very breathable. Inner side is very soft and comfortable to wear.
NoWind
is a 3-layer laminated material produced by Pontetorto Italy. The material consists of the outer microfleece layer, windproof membrane between, and the back side laminated by a lining. The laminat is very comfortable, 100% windproof and excellently vapour-permeable material with good thermal insulation properties.
Nylon 6.6 Stretch
is a very elastic and sturdy fabric produced from Nylon yarns by using special technology. The fabric with excellent durability, strength and abrasive resistance (comparable with Cordura) is used for extra stressed parts of the clothes. The stretch property of the fabric does not limit the freedom of movement.
Tecnopile
is a very comfortable fleece knitted fabric produced by Pontetorto Italy. This material is used for the middle layers of sport and outdoor clothing thanks to its excellent thermal insulation qualities.
Polartherm
is a fleece material using for the thermal insulation - the middle layer of clothing. Its excellent air-permeability and great moisture vapour transport assure very quick moisture escape to outer layers of the wear.
Nylon Wicking
is a very comfortable and permeable 100 % nylon fabric. The nylon fibres for the fabric were made by using a special technology and so-called „wicking treatment“, giving the fabric natural look and feeling. The fabric is supple, flowing and soft to touch like natural-fibre fabrics but it keeps the permanency of form and colour fastness, lightness, strength and durability of nylon. The wicking treatment gives the fabric permanent moisture transport ability. Unlike fibres in natural fabrics, wicking-treated fibres are not moisture absorbing, which means they do not retain moisture and do not feel cold. The fabric removes moisture from the skin, transports it to its surface, where it can easily evaporate. The fabric itself remains dry.
Teflon (manufacturer DuPont)
Is a special adjustment of fabric to reach very high water-repellency while preserving the original airiness, suppleness and flowing of the material. Producer of Teflon - DuPont Company – guarantees that even after 40 washing cycles the water-repellency does not drop under the 50 % of its original level.

Polartec Classic 200
is light and very warm two side brush fleece with antibacterial modification, high permeability and excellent insulation qualities. The fabric with water-repellent modification (DWR) also resists in light rain and snow. Polartec Classic 200 is fast-drying and mechanical abrasion resistant material, which can be washed in the washing machine and maintained easily.
